Pépite Terms of Service

1. Publisher and identity

Pépite is published by FLEECE AI, a simplified joint-stock company with a sole shareholder (SASU), registered with the Clermont-Ferrand Trade and Companies Register under SIREN 932 329 188, with its registered office at 10 rue Pierre Poisson, 63400 Chamalières, France.

2. Purpose and description of the service

Pépite is an AI agent that hunts down the best discounts and deals (groceries, everyday purchases, gifts). It is an all-in-one service: an AI-powered conversational chat, email-based price monitoring, and a basket comparator.

Pépite compares prices from more than 40 retailers in real time, calculates an "all-in price," and assigns each offer an explainable "DealScore." The service is multi-market (France, United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia) and bilingual (French / English).

The Amazon recurring-purchase pilot lets you give Pépite a schedule, an exact ASIN, a quantity and an indicative price reference. When due, Pépite prepares a handoff to the product page: it does not sign in to your Amazon account, check the price, fill a basket or form, process a merchant payment method or place an order. You must trigger the handoff, check every condition and confirm the purchase yourself on Amazon. Any purchase outcome recorded in Pépite is your own report, not merchant confirmation.

Pépite is a decision-support tool: it sells no products, plays no part in the transaction between you and the merchant, and cannot be held liable for that transaction.

3. Account and sign-in

Full access to Pépite requires creating an account. Sign-in is done via a magic link sent to your email address, or via Google (OAuth) if you choose that option.

You agree to provide a valid email address and to keep access to your mailbox and account confidential. You are responsible for activity carried out from your account.

The service is reserved for persons with legal capacity to contract under French law. You may request deletion of your account at any time by writing to bonjour@pepite.deals.

4. Pro subscription

Pépite offers a free plan and a Pro plan at €4.99 per month, with a 14-day trial period. Subscription and payment are handled by our provider Stripe.

Unless cancelled before the end of the trial, the subscription becomes paid and renews automatically each month until cancelled. You may cancel at any time from your account (subscription management area / Stripe portal).

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid for; you keep access to Pro features until then. Prices are stated inclusive of any applicable taxes; they may change, and any change will be communicated to you before it applies to your subscription.

5. Acceptable use

You agree to use Pépite fairly and in compliance with the law. The following uses are notably prohibited:

• Misusing, overloading, or attempting to bypass the service or its security
• Mass-extracting data or results through unauthorized automated means
• Using the service for unlawful, fraudulent, or rights-infringing purposes
• Reselling or commercially exploiting the service without written authorization

6. Nature of displayed prices

The prices, availability, and offer details shown in Pépite come from third-party sources (merchants, affiliate networks, price search engines) and are retrieved in real time.

This information is provided for indicative purposes only. It may vary, be out of sync with the merchant's website, contain errors, or no longer be available at the time of purchase. The "all-in price" and the DealScore are estimates intended to inform your choice.

Before any purchase, you must verify the price, fees, and conditions directly on the merchant's website. Pépite does not guarantee the accuracy, timeliness, or completeness of information obtained from third-party sources.

7. Affiliate transparency

Pépite includes affiliate links (via networks such as Awin, and others) to merchants. When a purchase is made through these links, Pépite may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you.

Our recommendations and the DealScore remain based on the real value of an offer (all-in price, price history, reliability) and are not biased by earning a commission. This affiliate monetization is what allows us to offer a free plan.

8. Intellectual property

The Pépite service, its brand, interfaces, texts, database structure, DealScore, and all of its components are protected by intellectual property law and remain the property of FLEECE AI or its partners.

These Terms grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service. Any unauthorized reproduction, extraction, or exploitation is prohibited. Third-party merchants' trademarks and content belong to their respective owners.

9. Limitation of liability

Pépite is a decision-support tool provided "as is." FLEECE AI uses reasonable means to ensure the quality and availability of the service, without guaranteeing uninterrupted, error-free operation or any specific results.

FLEECE AI cannot be held liable for information obtained from third-party sources, for the purchasing decisions you make, or for transactions concluded with merchants, which are governed solely by your relationship with them.

To the extent permitted by law, FLEECE AI shall not be liable for indirect damages. These provisions do not limit the rights you hold as a consumer that cannot be waived.

10. Personal data

FLEECE AI processes your personal data (notably email, optional first name, preferences, search queries and monitored products, mandates and self-reported purchase outcomes, subscription data) in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

The terms of this processing, the legal bases, the sub-processors (notably Neon, OpenAI, Vercel, Stripe, Resend, Google, SerpApi), transfers outside the EU framed by standard contractual clauses, as well as your rights (access, rectification, erasure, portability, restriction, objection, withdrawal of consent, and complaint to the CNIL) are detailed in our Privacy Policy, which you should refer to.

No personal data is resold. Email price monitoring relies on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

11. Changes to the Terms

FLEECE AI may amend these Terms to reflect changes in the service, in regulations, or in its practices. The applicable version is the one in force at the time you use the service.

In the event of a substantial change, we will inform you by an appropriate means. Continued use of the service after the new Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of them.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought as a priority; you may contact us at bonjour@pepite.deals.

Failing an amicable agreement, the dispute will be brought before the competent courts in accordance with the applicable rules of law, without prejudice to the protective provisions of consumer law.
